PCManX for Maemo
pcmanx is a user-friendly telnet client mainly targets bbs users. i port it to maemo platform. it’s based on pcman x pure gtk+ 2 project.
please download the deb file and install it directly. current version is 0.3.8-1.

you can see some screenshots here.
i only tested it under my n810. i guess it should work on n800, but not sure about the soft keyboard and input method. for users who visit simplified chinese bbs, i suggest to set both the font and fonten to “simhei.ttc” which you can get from ms windows.
notice: the default encoding is ‘big5′, you may need to set to ‘gbk’ to connect to simplified chinese bbs. and do not forget to change the default font.
[2010-07-24] pcmanx for n900 version is released, based on pcman x 0.3.9
you can get that from maemo extras-devel repository, the package name is “pcman x for maemo”.

我在pcmanx的font设置里，改成了MHeiGB（因为发现我只有这么一个中文字体），解决了乱码的问题。
但奇怪的是我没法更改大小，或者说改了以后pcmanx也没反应，总回到默认的12，导致整个bbs看上去非常的累眼。
随后我按照你说的，把simhei.ttf copy到系统fonts目录下，但系统提示我没有权限。
难道我必须需要搞到root权限才行，有这么麻烦吗？

难道你的N810一样没有开root权限么？而且N810自带的字体也不是MHeiGB吧？是个名字很长的18030结尾的字体名。这个字体大小确实没法改，是自动用当前可用的最大字体。这个程序支持全屏，只有全屏状态下显示才好。不过仍然是说用simhei效果好。获取root权限很容易啦，装个rootsh才几秒的事情。

我觉得没必要就一直没用rootsh,导致libfetion也没装上去…

还有个问题想请教,我装了fbreader看电子书,发现中文都是乱码.
我是os2008的,microb看中文网也没问题.
可是为啥fbreader总是不行呢,把他自带的各种中文代码试了个遍都不成,我已经绝望了.

fbreader的问题发现是我没有设置style里的family字体,改成simhei就ok了.
(很不好意思的)又有一个问题…飞信libfetion在安装前,说要让用应用程序管理器装qt库.
